CEO DATELINE - SmithBucklin to manage Convention Industry Council

Association management company SmithBucklin has been selected to oversee operations of the Convention Industry Council, an organization representing 33 associations in various sectors of the meetings industry.
Talley Management currently manages CIC. As part of the change, the organization's headquarters will move from Alexandria, Va., to 2025 M Street NW, Washington, D.C., on April 1.
CIC CEO Karen Kotowski will remain in her position after the management transition.
"CIC's plans will really impact how people are engaging and finding value in the meetings community," Kotowski said in a statement. "I am so happy to be part of the SmithBucklin team so that we can make these plans a reality."
